First Group Enterprises Ltd is the owner and provider of First News Education products: First News Print Edition, First News Digital Edition, Activity Sheets and the iHub. The registered address is 58 Southwark Bridge Road, London, SE1 0AS.
The standard contract period for First News Education is one year. Please note that we operate a rolling renewal process. This means we will automatically renew your school’s First News Education package every year.
If you would like to cancel or amend your subscription at the end of your contract period you must notify us by phone, email or letter giving at least 30 days’ notice prior to the end of your contract. Please note, unless we receive a cancellation notification from you in this time your contract will be automatically renewed for another year and a new invoice will be issued. You can upgrade your contract at any point.
Invoices will be sent annually and are payable within 30 days. Prices are guaranteed for the duration of your subscription.
We reserve the right to increase the prices for any subsequent year in line with our own inflationary cost increases. First News incur regular cost increases due to fluctuations in price of paper, distribution and other factors which contribute to the overall cost of producing and supplying the products.
On registering for a subscription, you acknowledge that you have provided First News Education with the correct contact details for the ongoing management of the subscription and for billing purposes. Should any of these contacts leave the establishment it will be your responsibility to update First News Education with new contact details.
First News print copies are delivered by Royal Mail 2nd class post and via selected courier companies for larger orders.
Delivery charges within the UK are included in the price of your order. For any delivery outside of the UK, we will charge based on location and weight, and communicate this clearly during the checkout process.
Copies dispatch from our mailing house every Wednesday on either an overnight service or a 48-hour service, depending on the order size. Copies should be with you by Friday at the latest but please be aware that deliveries to certain regions can take up to 3 days.
In the event of a delay by Royal Mail or courier services, we are unable to offer a refund or to resend your delivery. Please contact us immediately at email@example.com if you are experiencing any delivery problems. In order to rectify any issues with the delivery address please notify First News Education within 5 working days of a missed delivery.
We reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to cancel printed copies in your subscription if it becomes apparent to us that the postal or courier service in your area is continually failing to deliver to your school address successfully or on time.
Subscribers are prohibited from sharing digital copies, log in credentials and downloadable activities across all First News Education products, with anyone outside of their school.
