Engage Pro Class Teacher Task: How to enable group working

Learn how group working works and how to turn it on for your class

By default, group working is turned OFF on Engage Pro.

If you have group working on, pupils sharing a computer or tablet can work on Engage Pro together and all receive points to their separate accounts. Group working also allows teachers to lead a group around a whiteboard, so a class can give answers together. Your students will be able to receive points to their individual accounts in this instance too.

To turn this feature on, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to Engage Pro with your teacher login.
  2. On the Engage Pro dashboard, click the 'Class Settings' button at the bottom of the page.
  3. In the 'Class Settings' section, scroll down to the heading that reads 'Group Working'.
  4. Toggle the switch to green to turn group working on for your class.
